The next time you fly back to the Twin Cities, if you are lucky enough to be on the approach route that takes you over downtown Minneapolis, you might see something unusual. There's a giant green leaf on top of the Target Center.rnWhat used to be a conventional gravel roof last September became, at 113,000 square feet, one of the largest vegetated roofs in the world-and the first on a sports arena. The veins of that huge leaf are actually ceramic-tile pathways, the keystone of the roof.
