ACADIA 2014 - Recent Research in Digital Architecture Technology

The Acadia conference is one of the most prestigious opportunities for researchers and architects to dis-cuss contemporary developments in the realm of digital architectural technology. The conference theme regularly touches on related disciplines, and offers insights in newest design and technology developments at a global scale. Selected ACADIA 2014 projects were chosen to be presented here at larger detail. These projects share three common aspects: they were initiated in a university context, employ multiple material strategies, and work with efficient or optimized structural principles to generate space.
