Radicalized dissolution of boundaries Measures in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic have shown that radical interventions in space are still possible - except that the new, radical rules of the game are being adopted and enforced by public health agencies instead of urban planners and architects. No matter how lasting the changes are, the evacuation of offices and public space has been made possible by new technologies and, above all, new forms of work. All of us, who belong to the so-called creative sector, know that already years ago, our work started to move to the street, the bar, the bus, and above all home. The more the work became virtual and linked to the wireless internet, smartphones and laptops, the more dynamic and flexible our workplace became. The dynamics of new work forms also began to replace the static, spatial and temporal, boundaries, created by the twentieth century. The glass walls of office towers are no longer a barrier to either wireless internet or creative workers who come home and continue with work there. Work continues in the evening, at night and during vacations. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the sudden reorganization of bedrooms and kitchens into ad hoc study rooms and offices is therefore not something new, but just an accelerated and radicalized process that began decades ago.
