Enjoying great views onto the city of Basel from its promontory, the Bruderholz neighborhood was planned at the beginning of the 20th century following typical Garden City principles: winding streets meander along high hedges, hiding luxurious villas or modest terraced houses. A small box sits at one corner of the lush and extensive garden of a 1930s villa. The single-floor shelter will allow an elderly man to enjoy quietness while staying near to his family living in the villa.
