When the setting is a city: our architecture is "between ": between streets, between other buildings, between gaps. The city is rich and varied, and has extremely varied situations: streets, median strips, parks, and so on, and can offer buildings, courtyards, squares, streets, and so on. Architecture cannot be offered to itself. It must be offered in relation to the city， in both its social nature and also its nature as a stage. It is the link.
