KYOBASHI CHILD INSTITUTION

Located in a business district lined with office buildings, the Kyobashi Child Institution is an accredited child care center that functions as a day-care center and kindergarten and also provides temporary babysitting and other childrearing support services. The institution was created as a public service facility as part of the Shimizu Corporation new head office project, which was designated a Special Urban Renaissance District by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. The facility is designed to help eliminate the backlog of people awaiting child care services due to the population increase in central Tokyo. It also serves as a place to store emergency stockpiles and a disaster center for people who are unable to return home in the event of a disaster. The facility has an emergency generator and the like to enable i( to aid the community in the evenr of a disaster.
