Architecture, Film & Music: Carlton in the Sixties [Framed by Now]

This is a film program at the Australian Mediatheque in ACMI, as part of 2012 Melbourne Architecture Annual, curated by Louise Mackenzie. The black and white photographs here are a still from the film Bonjour Balwyn (1971) by Nigel Buesst and a photograph from Robin Boyd's The Australian Ugliness (the 1968 edition), also taken by Nigel Buesst. The colour photos taken by Jane McDougall at the Meditheque, show Terry Nott (architect and one time drummer for The Loved Ones, whose music is on the soundtrack of the film Pudding Thieves (1967), which stars George Tibbits, architect, composer and teacher, for almost 30 years at the University of Melbourne) among many others.
