摘要

The technology of additive manufacturing results in3D printing of conductive traces in radio frequency circuits. Thiscreates a plethora of possibilities in realizing flexible and wearableelectronics. While the prototypes of microstrip transmission linesand antennas have been recently reported, there is now a need ofElectromagnetic Compatibility based study of such 3D printedconductive traces. This paper presents a comparative study on thenear end and far end unintentional crosstalk components betweena pair of microstrip transmission lines made of Copper in thepresence of a 3D printed conductive trace made of a commerciallyavailable conductive filament, Electrifi. Any physical contact withthe 3D printed trace has been purposefully averted to discard thehigh contact resistance between the trace and such contacts.
