Global Electric power feform, privatization, and liberalization of the electric power industry in developing countries

摘要

This paper reviews the progress of the movement to privatize and liber- alize the power sector in developing countries. Ti reviews the forces driving the move- ment and then describes the steps that should be taken to achieve success. Data on actual steps taken and preliminary information on the impact of reform are presented. Finally, lessons from this past experience are highlighted.
