Road Map to Quadruple Play

Multiple system operators (MSOs) and cellular mobile radio service operators are poised to enter into partnerships to provide one-stop shopping for communications and information services. In this document we focus on voice services and make recommendations as to how MSOs can best leverage their assets and the assets of cellular operator partners (see Figure 1). We call quadruple play a service set that includes fixed telephony, video, data, and mobile telephony. Triple play lacks the mobility component.
