Calicheamicin derivatives(MW~1500) and monoclonal antibodies(MoAbs) conjugated to calicheamicin deriva- tives(MW~150 000) were analyzed by UV-MALDI/MS, IR-MALDI/MS, and ESI/MS. These materials are potent anticancer agents. Calicheamicin derivatives and coju- gates rapidly degrade upon UV irradiation but are rela- tively stable during IR irradiation and under ESI condi- tions.
