Margaret Martin Honored

Retired federal government employ-ee Margaret E. Martin spoke to early 100 U.S. Census Bureau employees in the Morris Hansen Auditorium during the second installment of The Wise Elders Program. The Census Bureau Human Capital Management Council and the Statistical Research Division Seminar Series hosted the seminar "At the Interface Between Statistics and Policy: Encountering the Unexpected" on February 9, 2005, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. During her talk, Martin chronicled the development of the Current Population Survey and described several occasions when the unexpected occurred and affected the CPS.
