Contributed abstract submissions for the Denver Joint Statistical Meetings begin on December 3, 2007. There are four basic formats for these presentations: contributed talks, topic-contributed talks, contributed posters, and topic-contributed posters. The contributed formats are available to you simply by submitting an abstract. The topic-contributed formats require some grass-roots effort by someone to organize a session of five speakers or discussants—or three or more posters—on a common topic. Throughout the past several years, topic-contributed paper sessions have been well-received.
