Soft drink bottler Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) has reported steadynsales growth for 2011, with comparable revenues up by 11.5% onna reported basis and 5.5% on a currency neutral basis (with thenUS-listed firm boosted by generating its sales in Europe). Volumesnwere up by 3.5% during the year, representing a solid result givennthe weakness of the European consumer sector. The firm reportednvolume growth for both its sparkling and still units, with growth ofn3.5% and 3% respectively. However, while the firm reported thatnvolumes of Coca-Cola trademark brands increased by 3.5%, thenfact that sparkling unit contains the very dynamic energy category　(which registered growth of 40%) means that overall growth ofn3.5% in the sparkling category suggests that many of the firm's othernsparkling brands had a less impressive year.
