World Water & Solar Technologies Corp. hasrnreceived an order to produce 10 of its portable Mobile MaxPure™ units for use in the Darfur region of western Sudan. The proprietary, solar-driven water pumping and purifying units, purchased for a total of $775,000, will provide approximately 30,000 gpd of safe drinking water atrneach of 10 sites across the desert region, which is experiencing a major humanitarian crisis. The Mobile MaxPure systems, expected to be installed by late 2007, will supply fresh water for approximately 60,000 people per day.
