摘要

Most LCR guidance for controlling lead in drinking water presumes that Pb(II) solids control lead solubility (Lytle & Schock, 2005a; [Michael R. Schock] et al, 2001; Schock, 1990, 1989). This "conventional" understanding assumes that manipulation of basic water chemistry (pH, alkalinity) produces stable mineral forms (cerussite [PbCO3] and hydrocerussite [Pb^sub 3^(CO^sub 3^J^sub 2^(OH)^sub 2^]) that may passivate a corroding lead surface.
