摘要

I was reading the editorials in the latest issue and was struck with the audacity of the author of the Don't Ask Don't Tell letter. This gentleman jumped all over the issue and added a few of his own to the subject. Does he think that gays and alternative lifestyle veterans never served? These individuals in the military had to keep their real lives in closets for fear of being discovered, yet they managed to be proper military men and women, doing their jobs and then some, earning numerous medals. Many have been in long enough, hiding their lifestyle, and gained rank, which only proves they were sincere in the career they chose, living with the fear of someone knowing; this "secret."
