Global Transportation Management Benchmark Study: Good Design is Good Business

Welcome to American Shipper's seventh annual benchmark study of global transportation management, produced in conjunction with the National Retail Federation (NRF), Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP). The study includes the responses of 191 qualified global logistics practitioners surveyed from mid-March through late April. Transportation management has started to move beyond a nuts-and-bolts function for many shippers and LSPs - it is the hub around which these companies orient other key supply chain processes. Against that backdrop, this year's study keenly examines the elements that transportation management companies are layering around simple planning and execution.
