摘要

We can design an interesting and challenging curriculum and have it taught effectively, with students being excited both about the material and the learning process. I'm not convinced that passion for learning necessarily comes from passionate teachers or discussing big think questions, or that the major, particularly the economics major, works against this. It comes from an appreciation for the value of what is learned, and an understanding of how it can be used to further one's knowledge of the world around us.
