The Industry Goes Green

Last month, I discussed changes in environmental policy that led regulators to control pollution at its source and quantify the industry's efforts to do so. Drycleaners have responded to regulatory pressure by reducing perc usage―they have become "greener." But what is "green" drycleaning? This month, I'll examine some of the actions that have helped the drycleaning industry in the U.S. into more environmentally friendly waters.
