Almost from the moment of his own graduation from the National Bakery School in London, Nicholas Lodge began sharing his knowledge and skills with others. With more than 35 years of teaching experience behind him, he's still eager to learn more-and share more. Nicholas Lodge's career certainly had early highlights-creating cakes at the famous Harrod's food hall, at the Savoy and the Ritz hotels in London and eventually creating cakes for the British royal family; this led to his first book deal and an international tour to support it, all before the age of 25. But what is most notable is the consistency of his career since then. Never one to be satisfied with "as is," Lodge has become a retailer, a product developer and, perhaps most significantly, as a mentor to thousands of aspiring cake artists through his many classes.
