1. Using the dark gold edible pen, draw some lines on and around the cake for the branches. Take some gum paste or white fondant that has been stiffened with tylose and divide into three pieces. Take one piece, and using a cocktail stick, add a small amount of Sugarflair Paprika paste color. Knead it in well. This will be the lightest color. Place in a plastic food bag to stop it from drying out. Take the next piece and slightly increase the amount of Sugarflair Paprika to create a more saturated color. Place this paste into the food bag. Finally, add a larger amount of Sugarflair Paprika to the remaining paste to create the darkest shade.
