Eriez Magnetics, a worldwide active specialist in equipment for magnetic separation headquartered in the USA, has brought onto the market two new systems for the separation of materials containing ferrous and non-ferrous metals for metal recycling. Whereas the Eriez ProSort metal sorting machine sorts metals particularly inexpensively and cleanly, the FinesSort unit can sort out fine metal pieces, for example of copper and aluminium, which otherwise often remain unused because of their small size. These solutions benefit recycling operations by cutting costs and improving yields and thus also profits.
