In November 2009 Schwartz GmbH in Simmerath, Germany, celebrated its 25th anniversary. The company specialises in the construction of heat treatment equipment and has greatly extended its business over the past years. Even the current economic crisis has had little effect on its development. The product range includes everything needed for heat treatment: chamber and continuous-throughput furnaces for aluminium coils and billets, for castings and forgings - often using the jet heating process with high convection. "These units are very critical and labour-intensive to produce and it is therefore important to keep production in our own hands", says managing proprietor Rolf Schwartz. The necessary space is provided by a new production shed also put up in November.
