ECL continues to innovate and thinks ahead in engineering

Since its inception in Lille, France, in 1947, ECL has become a world leader in providing key equipment to primary aluminium smelters. ECL is part of the Rio Tinto Alcan group and its products are used in the reduction and carbon areas of the smelter. The product range includes pot tending machines, cranes and transfer equipment for the reduction lines, specialised cranes, complete anode rodding shop, and metal and bath handling systems as well as a wide range of products and services for the carbon sector including green and baked anode handling equipment.
