Qantas Airways has shifted its focus in the USA significantly with a new service to Dallas/Fort Worth. The route provides connections with the Australian flag carrier's long-standing code-share and oneworld alliance partner, American Airlines. As AA's largest hub, DFW offers QF customers more than 100 new links within the USA and Canada, Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean. The day before QF launched service to DFW, it dropped San Francisco, claiming that SFO was more of a leisure destination, while DFW-and the vast connections available-help cater to both leisure travellers and the fiscally more significant business flyers.
