A rebounding US economy, coupled with carriers adding some capacity after years of restraint, will fuel growth in passenger demand, albeit quite modestly. By contrast, carrier competition and Canada's more commodity oriented economy helped drive stronger passenger demand in recent years. However, indications for 2013 suggest that carriers are making adjustments and that moving forward, capacity will be more in line with Canada's level of economic activity.
