Once a Naval air station, Orlando Sanford International now serves as the secondary commercial airport for the Orlando area, with more than 250,000 takeoffs and landings annually. Like all airports, Orlando Sanford must meet strict TSA guidelines regulating the use of security cameras. These guidelines include monitoring the access control devices installed on every door and gate leading to the runways with video surveillance cameras.
