This former commuter terminal baggage claim area was reconditioned specifically with the Airport Innovation Lab in mind to create a place where innovators are able to put their ideas through their paces in a less restricted environment. Imagine a passenger sitting at the gate - hungry, yet still having mounds of work to do. Or a slightly frazzled mother who just got her two small children to sleep, and panic starts to set in as she realizes she needs supplies and food for the plane. If they are traveling through San Diego International, they are in luck.
