'Classic' Hornets in Japan for Bushido Guardian

SIX ROYAL Australian Air Force (RAAF) F/A-18A/BS from No 77 Squadron took part in a first bilateral air combat exercise with the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) from September 11 to October 8. The 'classic' Hornets were involved in manoeuvres conducted at Chitose Air Base and Misawa Air Base as part of Exercise Bushido Guardian 2019 (BG19). The RAAF contingent was stationed at Chitose AB for the duration of drill.
