BOC mandates Citi for export credit

BOC Aviation has mandated Citi to arrange export credit financing for up to $597 million. The bank will work with the European export credit agencies to finance up to $301 million for eight A320s and will arrange an Ex-Im financ-rning for up to $296 million for eight 737NGs.rnThe 16 aircraft will deliver between October 2009 and March 2010.rnThe Ex-Im financing is eligible to be converted into a bond issuance. Emiratesrnpriced the first bond under the Ex-Im capital markets structure, achieving a 3.546% coupon. Goldman Sachs and Calyon were joint arrangers on the transaction.
