Lion Air mandates Citi for four 737-900ERs

Lion Air of Indonesia is understood to have mandated Citi for the Ex-Im-backed financing of four 737-900ERs, delivering this year. More aircraft will be delivered in 2010. Citi is understood to be the sole arranger of the commercial debt financing. According to a banker, the deal represents the fruition of several months of discussion between Ex-Im and various banks.
