What do you see as the main challenges facing your company and the market you are in, and how can they be successfully addressed? 2013 is going to be a challenging year for the aviation industry, including the MRO sector, especially when the cargo market is yet to show signs of a recovery in the midst of the lingering Eurozone financial crisis and the rather elusive US economic situation. While modest growth in passenger traffic may help partially offset the downturn in cargo flights, the fact that air-line customers are speeding up the retirement of the less fuel efficient 747 aircraft and modernising their fleets with more advanced models of longer maintenance intervals is posing a challenge to the MRO industry.
