GE AVIATION AND MITSUI SIGN AGREEMENT TO COLLABORATE ON NEXT-GEN ENGINES

GE Aviation and Mitsui & Co have signed a strategic partnership to support the development of key advanced technologies for GE's next-generation large commercial engines, including the GE9X. The terms of the agreement are not being disclosed. The new agreement builds on an existing relationship; last year, the two companies announced the establishment by Mitsui of an investment management programme to co-invest alongside GE Capital in US commercial finance assets.
