Eight ANSPs commit to climate declaration

Leading aviation figures, including eight air navigation service providers - Airways New Zealand, New Zealand; Avinor, Norway; DNSA, France; EANS, Estonia; Hungarocontrol, Hungary; LFV, Sweden; NATS, UK; NavCanada, Canada. And CANSO, the trade association for air navigation service providers - signed a Climate Change Declaration in April committing themselves to working towards carbon-neutral aviation growth and ultimately, carbon-free operations. According to CANSO, air traffic management has a vital part to play in achieving the environmental commitments of the aviation industry, and the body has made environmental performance one of its top three priorities.
