"Heroes in the Tower" (Sept. 2011) doesn't give the name of the pilot who died while flying a King Air, but the entire F-111A community was saddened to learn of the untimely death of Colonel Joe Cabuk (ret.)- Joe was a very well liked, highly respected pilot and tactician. As I remember him during my nine years in the A-model Aardvark, Joe didn't do things halfway—ever. His soft-spoken demeanor belied his great knowledge of the F-l11A weapon system, and his tall, trim frame would never lead one to believe he had heart disease. Sad.
