IMAX at the Races

If you have always wanted to see the National Championship Air Races but never made it to Reno, Nevada, where they are held every September, you may want to visit the nearest IMAX theater this April to see Air Racers 3D. In some ways, the movie gives a better view of the races than the event does: Aircraft from all six classes race by in 3D on a screen 50 feet tall, and the audience gets to watch a few moments of the action from inside a raceplane's cockpit.
