Impressions from Europe

My wife Diana and I have just returned from a month in Europe, where we were on tour in Switzerland, and also cruised on a river boat from Budapest to the Black Sea. The tours were interesting and the weather generally very good (the mountains in Switzerland were spectacular with the blue sky in the background and no clouds surrounding them). During the trip I could not help noticing several aspects related to air pollution. For this report I intend to comment on these and compare with the Australia/New Zealand situation.
