Final Guidelines Issued for Voluntary Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions

In an April 21, 2006 final rule (71 FR 20784-20817), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) issued final guidelines for the voluntary reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and reductions. The final general guidelines and related final technical guidelines are intended to enhance the measurement accuracy, reliability, and verifiability of greenhouse gas emission reduction information reported under DOE's voluntary reporting program.
