CAA Regulatory Scorecard

With the number of CAA regulatory actions currently being developed, it may prove difficult to keep up with the status of specific rules. To help track the progress of CAA regulations, we have prepared a Regulatory Scorecard based on EPA's regulatory agenda. On June 13, 2014 (79 FR 34116-34123), EPA announced that the regulatory agenda had been published online at. The Regulatory Scorecard summarizes future regulatory actions implementing the CAA. However, we have not included rules dealing with mobile source emission standards or radiation protection. The rules included in the Scorecard are grouped by their stage of development: 1) long-term actions for which the date for the regulatory action has yet to be determined, and in some cases, where the scheduled date for the action is one year or more away (EPA's ongoing regulatory actions related to listing substitutes for ozone-depleting substances are included in this category); 2) actions that have been announced but not yet issued as proposed rules (in this section, we have included some items that EPA has termed long-term actions); 3) actions that have been proposed but not yet finalized; and 4) actions that have been completed (e.g., finalized, withdrawn) since the regulatory agenda was last published on January 7, 2014 (79 FR 1216).
