MH-60 Contract for Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $1.05 billion contract to provide digital cockpits and integrated mission systems and sensors for the US Navy's Sikorsky MH-60R and MH-60S helicopters. The contract covers the supply and integration of equipment for 162 MH-60R anti-surface and anti-submarine helicopters, plus 62 digital cockpits for the MH-60S, which is primarily used for vertical replenishment. The multi-year deal covers procurement of both types from fiscal year 2012 to 2016, specifically Lots 10 to 16 of the MH-60R and Lots 14 to 17 of the MH-60S, as well as integrated logistical support for both types. Work is expected to be complete by June 2018.
