During March's FIDAE 2012 Air Show in Chile, Russian Helicopters delivered the first Kamov Ka-32A11BC helicopter ordered by a Brazilian customer. Helipark Taxi Aereo will use the co-axial rotor helicopter for hauling external freight loads to inaccessible regions of Brazil's Amazon basin, and in connection with construction work for the 2014 Soccer World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games. Russian Helicopters' Chief Executive Officer Dmitry Petrov said, "The reliability and efficiency of the Ka-32A11 BC gives us reason to be optimistic about the future growth for the aircraft in Brazil, which has the largest helicopter fleet in South America."
