Final Canadian CC-130J Rolled Out

In the last week of January the final Lockheed Martin CC-13OJ Hercules for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) was rolled out following painting. Acceptance flights will be-undertaken prior to the transport (130617, c 5690) being handed over to the RCAF in May. Canada ordered 17 stretched C-13OJs in January 2008, the first of which was officially accepted into service with 8 Wing at CFB Trenton, Ontario, on June 4, 2010 (see Canada Accepts CC-130J Hercules, July 2010, pl4).
