The likes of Boeing, Airbus and Embraer took the other route of developing their long-range luxury corporate jets from existing airliner designs.rnIn 1987 Bombardier/Canadair coined the term 'Regional Jetliner' and started the revolution in this type of aircraft which was possibly the most radical new commercial product idea since Concorde.
