RNLAF To Retire Its Last Fokkers

The Dutch Ministry of Defence recently announced that the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) will withdraw its last two Fokker 50s from No.334 Squadron as a cost-saving measure. Based at Eindhoven, the unit retired its four Fokker 60U/MPAs in 2006/2007, leaving a pair of Fokker 50s (U-05 and U-06) as the final examples of aircraft built by the Dutch manufacturer in RNLAF service.
