Grey Hellenic Hercules

Lockheed C-130H Hercules 743 (c 4665) of No.356 Mira Taktikon Metaforon 'Hercules' (MTM, Tactical Transport Squadron) is seen departing its base at Elefsina on May 21. The transport is one of two C-130Hs currently in the scheme (the other being 745 c 4716 ex 75-0542). It is planned that all Hellenic Air Force C-130s will receive this scheme following periodic general maintenance undertaken by Hellenic Aircraft Industries (HAI) at Tanagra. No.356 MTM currently has ten C-130Hs and five C-130Bs on strength. The fleet is also undergoing a C-130 Avionics Upgrade Programme.
