'Remote' Delivery of Airbus JetsTHE CORONAVIRUS pandemic has led Airbus to introduce a new virtual aircraft handover process, e-Delivery. Turkish carrier Pegasus was the first to use the new method for its A321neo deliveries in April 2020.The Technical Acceptance Completion stage of an aircraft handover involves a customer undertaking ground checks, acceptance test flights and approving the manuals and procedures. In the e-Delivery process, Airbus is delegated to conduct these activities and any minor cosmetic rework on customers' behalf.
