Jordanian F-16s to Get Link 16 Capability

Lockheed Martin F-16s in service with the Royal Jordanian Air Force are to be upgraded with a Link 16 NATO-standard datalink system. The upgrade has been procured under the US Foreign Military Sales programme. Link 16 systems are used extensively to enable coalition air operations, including those against ISIS insurgents in Syria, in which Jordan is participating.
