The Air Force is a broadly diverse institution, drawing members from every sector of American society-and beyond. But the service still has a long way to go before people feel fully included, Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force JoAnne S. Bass said Sept. 16. "Diversity [means] you ask somebody to the dance," she explained during a question-and-answer session at AFA's Doolittle Leadership Center. "Inclusion is, you actually ask them to dance."
