Robert F. Dorr, an Air Force Association Life Member, has written more than 70 books and thousands of articles and opinion pieces on aviation history and the Air Force. His recent work, Fighting Hitler's Jets: The Extraordinary Story of the American Airmen Who Beat the Luftwaffe and Defeated Nazi Germany, presents the personal accounts of American pilots who battled Luftwaffe jet- and rocket-powered aircraft such as the Me-262 Schwalbe and Me-163 Komet in the skies above Germany near the end of World War Ⅱ.
